MARINERS GIRLS TRAVEL HOCKEY

U10 and U12 Tryout Schedule

Here are the dates and times for the girls Mariners travel tryouts. For the tryouts on Tuesday 6-30 and Wednesday 7-1  families will be notified what time their daughter will be skating after the first evaluation on 6-23. Please keep in mind that we are following the rules and guidelines set forth by the State of Maine and Norway Savings Bank arena that limit the number of people in the building as well as players on the ice so these times may change slightly as we may need to combine U10 and U12 for parts of the evaluation to keep the numbers more manageable.

Please reach out to me at girlshockey@cascobayhockey.com with any questions. Players are expected to be at all of the evaluations for their age group.

Below is a list of the rules for players and parents that we must adhere to in order to use the rink as well as waivers that need to be signed and brought with you to the evaluation.  If you don't have a printer there will be copies available at the rink.  Please note that tryouts are for those that have registered online only - there will be no walk-ins.

  • Wear a face mask until you put on your helmet. Everyone 12 and over must wear a face mask in the building.
  • Make sure no one in your group has a fever, cough, or other symptoms of COVID-19.
  • Plan to check in and drop off kids curbside already dressed and don't bring your hockey bag into the building.
  • Follow all signs and markings in the building for social distancing.
  • Make sure everyone in your party understands social distancing, that is staying at least 6 feet away from others.
  • Leave valuables/personal items at home - we will no longer maintain a Lost &Found.
  • DO NOT bring outside food/beverages into the rinks.
  • DO use the hand sanitizers provided at our rinks and wash your hands often with soap and water for at
least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom, before eating and after blowing your nose,
    coughing, or sneezing.
  • DO avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
  • Be prepared to exit the facility no more than 15 minutes after you are finished skating so that the rinkstaff can properly clean before the next group arrives.
